Siskiyou Folk & Bluegrass Festival will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 10 am – 6 pm at Lake Selmac’s Trout Pavilion, Selma, OR. Sound by Slughaus Sound. The Rotary Club of Illinois Valley presents the Siskiyou Folk & Bluegrass Festival Saturday, June 24 at the Trout Pavilion by beautiful Lake Selmac — in Selma, OR. The event features some of the region’s finest Bluegrass, Folk and Americana talents. Single-day festival tickets are $25 at the gate (plus $5 per car for parking). Children 12 and under are free. Gates open at 10 am. Music starts at 11 am and runs until 6 pm. Please bring lawn seating and plenty of water! Food and beverages will be sold on-site (furnished by Wild River Brewing). No outside alcohol be allowed. Please no dogs. Sound by Slughaus Sound. Pacific Power will be a 2023 Platinum Sponsor of the event. Camping is available through Josephine County Parks (Lake Selmac Campground) or at the Lake Selmac Resort.

The Rotary Club uses the event as its major fund raising effort to cover costs of their Student of the Month recognition, Dolly Parton Imagination Library reading program, Read Across America Book give-away, Cookies and Cocoa with Santa toy give-away and at the end of the school year, a $2,500 scholarship to a deserving student from the local high school.  All of their efforts target youth programs and literacy.

Featured bands at the 2023 Festival include Songbird Trio, Sequoia, Jodie Jean Marston, Hot Copper Kettle, Dangerous Lee & The Rattlin’ Three, and The Sunny Sky Boys. Emcee will be Kuzin’ Keith, and sound reinforcement will be by Slughaus Sound.
