Bluegrass Wednesday presents Fiddle Night at the Gastro Mania Vault!

May 1, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

$10

The first all fiddle night at the Vault was in January this year and it was a big success so, here we go again!

This fiddle night will feature Amy and Ellie Hakanson along with their father Rob playing rhythm guitar. This is a very talented family. Both Amy and Ellie have several musical projects they’re involved with. Ellie was just awarded a Steve Waller grant from the OBA and Amy recently had a CD released, “Creature Comforts”, with her band Varelse.

Mike Eisler has played bluegrass music in Pacific NW since the 1960’s. Mike started playing fiddle when he was about 20 years old. He was a founding member of the great Sawtooth Mountain Boys and is now playing with the Fern Hill Bluegrass Band, recently switching from fiddle to banjo in the band. Mikes style is strongly influenced by Kenny Baker and it shows! Mike is featured on the recently released Fern Hill CD “Four Seasons”

Kevin Healy had also been playing around these parts for a looooong time. He has played with too many bands to count and they were all made better by Kevin’s playing. Bus Boys and Kevin were great friends and Bus definitely influenced Kevin’s playing. Bus passed away some years ago but his sound lives on! Kevin now owns Bus’ last fiddle and makes good use it!

Greg Roberts is another long time Pac NW bluegrass music entertainer. He’s going to be our Master of Ceremonies for this show. Be ready for Greg’s unique outlook on life!

Show starts at 7pm
