Bluegrass in the Gorge Returns May 29–June 1, 2025 — A One-of-a-Kind Immersive Experience for Acoustic Musicians
CORBETT, OR – Picture this: front porches strumming with banjos, fiddlers trading licks under tall trees, and spontaneous harmony drifting across the cliffs of the Columbia River Gorge. That’s what’s in store at “Bluegrass in the Gorge,” returning to Menucha Retreat and Conference Center May 29–June 1, 2025.
Now in its fifth year, this intimate camp offers hands-on instruction and spirited jamming for players of guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and bass. The 4-day, 3-night retreat caps attendance at just 50 musicians to ensure a personal and enriching experience.
Bluegrass musician and educator Dave Keenan has curated a top-tier teaching staff featuring legends and rising stars: fiddler Darol Anger, multi-instrumentalist Hailey Pexton, songwriter Ethan Lawton, and bassist Forrest Marowitz.
The setting? Menucha—a 100-acre historic estate nestled high above the Columbia River. Late May means wildflowers in bloom, long golden evenings, and plenty of musical magic around the campfire.
