We are an all levels welcome, friendly bluegrass jam that meets in Portland, Oregon every Sunday afternoon. We meet on the 1st & 3rd ( and 5th if there is one) Sundays at Allgood Brewing, 2425 SE 35th Pl, (free) and on the 2nd & 4th Sundays at Artichoke Music,
Mixing bluegrass, old-time, classic country tunes, and a few originals, the Ross Island Ramblers play a soulful and high-energy blend of the best in traditional American folk music.
Whiskey Deaf performs bluegrass, old-time and early country, mostly drawn from early pioneers in the music, and brings to the stage many years of professional experience and skill. Their shows are always spontaneous, entertaining, and joyous, and feature exciting instrumental work and a unique repertoire of interesting songs and tunes.
