Sunny South Bluegrass Band at Cooper Mountain Ale Works

Welcome to the Sunny South Bluegrass Band website. Sunny South is one of the top bluegrass bands playing in the Portland, Oregon area. They play fiery bluegrass with tight harmonies, and wonderful musicianship. They have been playing together in various configurations for over 30 years and cover a wide range of bluegrass styles and eras. Led by founding members Mike Stahlman (banjo) and Dave Elliott (mandolin) and rounding out the band are Steve Reischman (guitar), Dee Johnson (bass) and Aaron Stocek (guitar). Sunny South is an experienced band, both professional and comfortable on the stage. They put on a great show that audiences enjoy.
