Reimagining pickin’ and thumpin’ by blending elements of jazz/folk/pop/R&B within a traditional bluegrass lens\, their sets explore a wide variety of styles and dynamics – with a focus on improvisation – showcasing both covers and originals. \nLeaning heavily into three-part vocal harmonies and virtuosic instrumentation\, dadweed strives to redefine what’s possible in bluegrass. The trio has toured throughout the west coast since 2024\, appearing at festivals\, venues\, and private events. dadweed released their first EP in Summer 2024 and will continue to release new singles throughout 2025.

DESCRIPTION:Slipshod is Matt Snook (dobro and banjo) and Steve Blanchard (guitar and mandolin). They met a number of years ago as part of the Northwest Bluegrass community and became fast friends and picking partners. They have similar musical styles\, yet they draw on many different influences like Gordon Lightfoot\, Norman Blake\, Simon and Garfunkel\, and Tim O’Brien\, to name a few. \nSlipshod formed in 2012. These musicians enjoy entertaining audiences with both their humor and musical skills. Matt and Steve offer listeners a broad and diverse range of music\, including originals\, familiar melodies and dynamic instrumentals. Their harmonies and unique vocal interpretations add to their precise instrumental talents.

Produce\, plants\, artisan crafts\, soaps\, jams\, hummus\, kombucha\, handmade pottery\, local honey\, jewelry\, food\, baked goods\, woodworking\, candles\, soaps\, spices\, flowers\, all produced in & around Douglas County. Local producers come together every Saturday at this family event that promotes thinking locally and supporting your neighbors. Umpqua Valley Farmers Market was voted 2021’s Outstanding Large Market by the Oregon Farmers Market Association.
