They are all seasoned professionals\, but most importantly they share a genuine joy playing this music with one another\, and it comes through in every performance. \nCenter stage is Annie Staninec\, a uniquely gifted fiddle player that brings driving rhythm\, musicality and joyful exuberance to every performance. She has performed in over 20 countries with artists spanning from Peter Rowan to Rod Stewart\, and is on countless recordings in a variety of musical styles. Annie has been receiving musical recognition and awards since a young age\, and her fiddling is 100% guaranteed to put a smile on your face! \nAnnie will be joined by her musical partner John Kael on banjo\, a multi-instrumentalist and award-winning songwriter. Playing guitar is powerhouse singer and Oregon native Jered Widman\, and on mandolin Jeff Smith\, a founding member and contributing songwriter for the renowned Sam Hill bluegrass band\, and on bass will be Patrick Lind. Special guests often sit in with them on bass\, fiddle\, banjo and/or vocals. \nOpen every Saturday\, year-round\, 9 am -1 pm. Produce\, plants\, artisan crafts\, soaps\, jams\, hummus\, kombucha\, handmade pottery\, local honey\, jewelry\, food\, baked goods\, woodworking\, candles\, soaps\, spices\, flowers\, all produced in & around Douglas County. Local producers come together every Saturday at this family event that promotes thinking locally and supporting your neighbors. Umpqua Valley Farmers Market was voted 2021’s Outstanding Large Market by the Oregon Farmers Market Association. That’s impressive\, considering that Oregon has 113 Farmers’ Markets in 136 locations\, 5900 vendors\, and 3.4 million visits!

DESCRIPTION:Masters of their trade\, The Lonesome Ace Stringband bring grit\, skill and abandon to Americana music\, bridging old-time\, bluegrass and folk traditions into a seamless hybrid of original material that is at once fresh and timeless.    \nThe trio’s sound is anchored in the fiddle and clawhammer banjo of John Showman and Chris Coole. They are joined by a rotating cast of extraordinary upright bassists (including founding member Max Malone\, James Mceleney\, and Lotus Wight). The band moves freely between a sound so commanding it doesn’t seem like it should be coming from a stringband\, to a sparse fragility that draws the listener closer.  Whether singing about climate change\, modern love\, BBQ techniques or life’s inevitable existential crises\, the band cuts to the core. They can also turn and churn out a tune with so much verve that it will make your heart spin and set the dance floor swirling.

DESCRIPTION:33 String Drive is a six-piece Bluegrass/Americana band from Southern Oregon that includes fiddle\, banjo\, mandolin\, guitar\, Dobro and upright bass. Members include some of the most seasoned players in the area including Bob Evoniuk on Dobro and Jeffery Jones on mandolin\, both founding members of Foxfire\, Siskiyou Summit of course\, 33 SD. On banjo is Rick Nelson also a founding member of Siskiyou Summit and of the Rogue Valley Bluegrass Boys. On fiddle is the amazing\, Jessie Watson who will delight you with her Bluegrass style on fiddle and harmony singing. On the upright bass is Holly Hurley who has a voice that will give you chills and finally\, on guitar is Kevin Andras\, who’s a well-known fixture in the Northern California music scene. Kevin’s guitar playing and singing adds the Drive in the 33 Strings arrangements. 33 String Drive’s vocal harmony singing is second to none!
