Kick start your bluegrass summer with the Sixteenth Annual Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival (WRBF), June 15th, 16th and 17th, featuring superstar bluegrass bands that will put the kick in your bluegrass start.  The Sixteenth Annual extraordinary line up goes like this….

Flatt Lonesome, is aptly described as a “bluegrass phenomenon”, “tour de force” and “the real deal”.  This young band, in a seemingly short period of time, has accrued honors, nominations, awards and top charting songs, as well as repeat appearances on the Grand Ole Opry stage.  They are, as their 3rd album suggests, a “Runaway Train”.

Alan Bibey & Grasstowne, is a band comprised of some of the most diversely talented and highly respected musicians in bluegrass and acoustic music. This makes Alan Bibey & Grasstowne one of the hottest and most energetic bands touring today, combining tradition with hard driving, progressive bluegrass.

The Special Consensus, is a long time, well known, highly respected, award winning bluegrass band.  Lead by veteran banjo picker Greg Cahill since 1975, this band stands the test of time.  Alumni of Special Consensus reads like a who’s who, with some of the biggest names now in music, former members of this dynamic band.

The Kody Norris Show, SPBGMA 2018 nominees, gives a bluegrass fan one of the most solid, entertaining and animated performances they will ever experience. The performances of The Kody Norris Show are reminiscent of traditional bluegrass artists, yet Kody brings his own special, distinct flair to the music.

Old Growth Quartet, is a regional band that delivers powerful harmony vocals with a repertoire of soulful acoustic music.  Their unique vocal connection is the centerpiece of Old Growth Quartet.  The band features an eclectic repertoire of traditional and original music with deep roots in bluegrass, country and folk, performed with real firepower.

Rusty Hinges Bluegrass, grew out of the bluegrass jam circles at local festivals. Their music is a blend of traditional and contemporary bluegrass and Americana.  Each member is a veteran of the Pacific Northwest bluegrass scene. Their collective experience results in a musical program that is polished and entertaining.
