Taborgrass presents: Bluegrass Open Mic at The Artichoke

Here’s a great opportunity to perform on a professional stage in Portland’s Premiere Listening Room at The Artichoke with an Ear Trumpet Labs single condenser mic. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the stage, we want to hear from you! Bring your band, your jam group, or put together a new one!

Requirements:
At least 2 musicians and at least 2 acoustic/traditional bluegrass/old-time instruments for each performance.

How:
Performers will need to sign-up below. There will be 4 sets throughout the night, each approx. 20 minutes long (perhaps longer if time allows). As for sound, we’ll provide an Ear Trumpet Labs single condenser mic on stage. Signups are on a first come, first play basis, just like any other open mic. You’re just signing up ahead of time! To keep things fair, we are asking bands who have performed at this open mic within the last 3 months to refrain from signing up to play (with some exceptions i.e musicians who play in more than one band). However, we highly encourage you to still come support other musicians as a listener!
