The first Portland Resophonic and Steel Guitar Roundup is January, 29th from 7 – 9 pm at the Little Church, 5138 NE 23rd Ave, Portland, OR 97211. $5 donation to attend, and tips are encouraged for musicians.The event features discussion and tunes by nine Portland-area lap style resophonic and steel guitar players.  A variety of playing styles will include modern and traditional bluegrass, western swing, blues, jazz, country, and folk. Interactive discussion will include history about the instruments, and insights on various styles and techniques.
