- This band is new on the
Vancouver/Portland acoustic music scene, but together these
women have decades of experience playing and singing in
harmony. MISTY MAMAS serve up powerful harmonies and
tasteful instrumentals combining the American genres of
bluegrass, gospel, folk and country music.
The Misty Mamas are Carol Harley (vocals, banjo, guitar,
mandolin, ukulele), Katherine Nitsch (vocals, guitar), April
Parker (vocals, mandolin, accordion), and Eileen Rocci
(vocals, bass). The band got its name from Carol Harley,
founding member of the popular Americana band, Misty River.
