- Jeff Shippy: A
multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and music teacher with a
couple of music degrees. (How'd this guy end up playing
bluegrass?) Jeff was an original member of the bands
Mollybloom and True North and he's the Oregon State
Bluegrass fiddle champ. Jeff only laughs and shakes his head
when reminded that one reviewer compared his playing on the
first True North CD to that of Stephane Grapelli.

- Matt Gray: Not to be
out done, however, Matt is eager to mention that Grapelli
never won the Oregon State Bluegrass Banjo Contest. A key
component on all three Mollybloom CD’s, Matt is now at work
on a second solo project. Matt’s fiery approach and sheer
love for the instrument help set his playing apart and
performing as part of a fiddle and banjo duo has been a long
sought after goal.
